Fabrizio, we cannot thank you enough for the amazing wedding you put on for us. Even 10 days after the fact, we are still blown away over all the pictures and memories. Right after the wedding, Liz and I went to Barcelona for a week and just got back to the US yesterday, so I’m sorry for sending you this a little late.
The tables were beautiful, with the table settings, the glassware, the flowers, and the layout of the long tables with us in the middle of that gorgeous lawn. Such a great setting to start that wonderful meal. The cake was a show stopper!! It was so big and so impressive and so beautiful, no one can stop talking about it! The string trio was amazing! They NAILED IT with the Jurassic Park theme, and everyone loved singing along to the other songs they played. The DJ kept everyone dancing all night long and kept the energy going even after he left. The guitar and accordion were wonderful and set such a romantic and epic mood for the cocktail hour. THE COCKTAIL HOUR!?!? Oh my god!! What an impressive spread. People’s jaws dropped to the floor when they saw the spread of food on those tables. And with the prosciutto carver!?!?! It was so classy and beautiful and exactly what we wanted. And the ceremony itself! Perfect location, perfect mood with the string trio, and perfect setup of chairs, benches, and altar.
And then there was the Borgo itself. We were nervous about having the wedding at that place we had never seen before. But within 30 seconds of arriving, we knew it was going to be magical. You found us such a wonderful place for us to have such a wonderful ceremony. Our friends and family have told us thousands of times so far that it was BY FAR the best wedding they have ever been too. The pictures have hundreds and hundreds of likes on facebook, and the people that weren’t able to make it to Italy are now full of jealousy that they missed it.
Fabrizio, we seriously can’t thank you enough. You made the first day of the rest of our lives an unforgettable event, and for that we will be forever thankful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Next time we’re in Italy we will most definitely contact you and meet up for a drink or a meal. And if any of our friends aren’t sure where to have their weddings, we’ll be sending them to you!!!! If you find yourself in Los Angeles, you better contact us so we can take you out around here!!!

Bryllup in Orvieto – Vi bestemte oss for å ha bryllupet vårt på en vingård i Italia – Orvieto og ble introdusert for Fabrizio Mengasini og Italyprestige.com gjennom vingården. Vi hadde i utgangspunktet tenkt at vi skulle klare å arrangere alt selv med litt hjelp fra personalet på vingården. Da vi traff Fabrizio innså vi fort at vi var på dypt vann og kanskje det ikke ville være så dumt å engasjere litt hjelp, førsteinntrykket var veldig bra. I månedene frem mot bryllupet gikk korrespondansen lett, men det var først rundt én måned før den store dagen at vi virkelig merket at det var MYE hjelp fra Fabrizio. Alt av ønsker og detaljer vi sendte over ble ordnet opp, finspikket og finpusset. Vi ankom Italia og vingården mandag før bryllupet og hadde møte med Fabrizio hver dag før bryllupet. På selve dagen var han tilstede og dirigerte hele bryllupet vårt med imponerende kontroll. Myself and my beautiful wife, Ann Marie, were married in Orvieto. Our 135 guests of all ages had a wondeful time, many of them vowing to return in the not too distant future. Although we have both travelled a lot, (Ann Marie being 35 and me being 38), including in Italy, we had never previously been to Orvieto until we were taken there by our wonderful wedding organiser, Fabrizio Mengasini of Italyprestige.com where he worked to plan out wedding at ladomusorvieto.com The town is like something out of a fairytale, large enough to get lost in the crowd, small enough for those looking for a relaxed break, or for the elderly to wander around in comfort. It is full of history and wonderful architecture, as well as fantastic restaurants, cafes and wine bars. It is close to the Autostrada Del Sole motorway from Rome if you are approaching by car. We found Fabrizio through a search of the internet and over a period of 12 months, he assisted us in arranging our wedding as if it was his own. We can give no higher praise. He had endless patience, wonderful good humour, and a calm demeanour. Nothing was ever too much trouble and there were times when we, and many of our guests, wondered if he was getting enough rest, so hard was he working. We are both seasoned business people and tourists but we were incredibly impressed by his dedication to the job in hand and the manner in which he dealt with us and with our guests. We have not previously encountered any person on our travels who is so genuine, hardworking, conscientious and yet calm and good humoured. Fabrizio is a wonderful ambassador for the town of Orvieto and the surrounding area. If you are ever looking to organise anything in Umbria or Tuscany regions, we both could not recommend him highly enough.

I could write a book on this part. From the first time we met with Fabrizio and throughout the whole year up to and after the wedding, he and Alessandra have provided a first class service. We were so happy with the service provided, from organising flowers, hairdressers, car, make-up, church, priest, transport, legal and religious paperwork, venue, video etc we were supplied with excellent local vendors. When I look back on photos I notice things i didn’t notice on the day that had been taken care of or little extra things that made such a difference that i would have forgotten.
